The task was to develop a visual identity for the AStA (student body representation) of the University of Applied Sciences Aachen and to redesign their means of communication accordingly.
The AStA understands itself as the „voice of the students“ as it is elected by students and represents them in all affairs towards the university.
The new visual mark is derived from the audio wave form of the name “AStA FH Aachen” and embodies that selfunderstanding.
The waveform is also re-used as design element in brochures and the website.
